SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — For a new company in South Orange, tarot card readings aren’t about giving people a quick tip, they’re about getting to know someone.
The manager of a new astrology and tarot card reading shop on Valley Street wants people to know that she personally invests in her customers. The company had a grand opening on September 27.
“I want my clients to know that when they come here, they’re not coming to a business. They’re coming to a place where they have a shoulder to lead on,” said director Ruth Nicklas.
The company offers four different types of services: tarot card readings, psychic readings, full life and clairvoyance. Prices vary depending on the reading offered. There is a private area where readings are taken and all information is confidential.
“The most important thing is the well-being of my clients,” Nicklas said. “I want them to feel when they’re here that they’re comfortable talking to someone who’s caring and non-judgmental. I want to be part of their journey.”
The boutique is located at 339 Valley St. It is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and by appointment only on Sundays. For more information, call 973-580-3791.
