The Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington hosts tarot card readings

FARMINGTON, CT – October is a magical and mystical month – for obvious reasons.

So it’s also the perfect time for the Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington to hold tarot card reading programs on Saturday, October 22; Sunday October 23; and Saturday October 29.

Sessions run from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on all three days, with guests able to book 20-minute sessions with a psychic for $45.

Hill-Stead recommends people book their viewings through the museum, but walk-ins are welcome.

“Tarot cards can give you insight into your life’s journey and what the future may hold,” the museum wrote in an announcement of the programs. “Tarot can offer insight into all aspects of life and provide a sense of clarity.”

Of course, such readings are fun and interesting, whether the subject sees them as an accurate representation of the future or simply as an entertaining and fun exercise.

The museum said the readings were also neatly linked to a special exhibit at the site, called “Radical Minds: Tarot, Automatism, and Feminist Stories.”

The exhibit features all kinds of artifacts related to tarot cards, mysticism, and other spiritual arts.

The Hill-Stead Museum is located at 35 Mountain Road, Farmington.
