Before we dive into your tarot card reading for March, I wanted to explain where the use of tarot cards came from and how they are used today and why – so let’s get to it, shall we?
The story:

Tarot is a form of divination that was first documented in Italy in the 1400s, but is thought to have even older roots with certain tribes in Africa. The cards represent representations of universal themes or archetypes that can be used to recognize common patterns of behavior within ourselves (individually) and for a more collective whole (society).
Tarot is also closely related to astrology, Kabbalah and many other spiritual belief systems as they use many of the same symbols or archetypes.

The traditional tarot deck structure includes 78 cards in total and can be divided into four distinct sections: Major Arcana, Minor Arcana, Court Cards and Aces.
The word Arcana translates to “secrets”, so we can think of the Major Arcana as big secrets, or bigger picture themesand the minor arcana like little secrets, or more personal/everyday themes. Court cards usually represent people, and aces usually represent new beginnings.

The structure of the tarot is also heavily based on astrology as it incorporates the 12 signs of the zodiac in combination with the 10 planets to make up the 22 Major Arcana cards – and the Minor Arcana (excluding Aces and Pages) are each governed by a specific zodiac sign.
Experiencing tarot readings by sign allows you to tap into a larger collective of people who may experience energy similar to yours because you will all have one of your major planets in the same sign.

As with all tools, the tarot can be used in healthy and unhealthy ways. The maps themselves are just a neutral medium to use for self-reflection and objective perspective, and it all depends on how they are put into practice.

Below are March tarotscopes (aka your tarot card reading) for each zodiac sign! You can check your sun sign, moon sign, or rising sign (also known as the “Big Three”).

The prediction :
The Eight of Wands shouts “quick, quick and hurry”. Some of you will have a new job opportunity that is urgent. This means that you may only have a short time to decide whether or not you want to take a leap of faith, so try not to think about it too much.
If you’re feeling in a rut, this card also brings the possibility of excitement and novelty out of nowhere. For most of you, this new opportunity is worth the detour!

The prediction :
Kings represent a level of mastery in tarot, so as it is the king of wands, you will feel more confident and creative this month.
This energy brings a sense of charm and charisma, so it will also be a great time to explore all types of relationships with people. You may also feel particularly attractive when it comes to manifesting, so don’t be afraid to ask for the things you need (i.e., a raise, an additional hand move, price negotiation, etc.). Creation, manifestation, and relationships are all your friends in March.

The prediction :
Swords usually represent the energy of communication, words or thought – so this month you are guided to set healthy but firm boundaries with the people around you. This could be within your family or your circle of close friends.
Setting boundaries can be uncomfortable territory for you, so make sure you understand your needs and what you want to say beforehand to help build your confidence. You have this!

The prediction :
The aces of the tarot are enveloped in new beginnings and excitement. Since it’s the Ace of Wands (wands represent your fire element), this month will feel like a birthday wish come true.
You have a an exciting opportunity coming your way that will make you feel so held, celebrated and seen by the universe. This could materialize on the first day or the first week of the month. Congratulations are in order!

The prediction :
This card is the major arcana of Pisces, which is the zodiac sign in front of you on the zodiac wheel. You are called to be open to perspectives different from yours this month.
It can be very difficult for you to step out of your natural way of seeing things, but if you try to expand your way of seeing things a bit, you might like what you find. The fastest path to growth is to understand your opposition.

The prediction :
Don’t let the enemies bring you down this month. You really thrive and shine brightly, but there are people around you who don’t want to see you well.

A long-awaited recognition is coming for you – and it feels like perfect timing. The Sun is not only the happiest card in the tarot deck, but it also has the big and bold energy of Leo, so I also see this recognition of having a public sense.

The prediction :
The Star card represents our general direction in life and our biggest dreams. So, even if you have a goal or a dream in mind, you might find yourself overwhelmed with the steps you need to take to get there.
For whatever reason, even if you feel called to follow a certain path, you are very discouraged when it comes to planning or taking the action you know you need to take. This card also has a larger arc, so remember that these things take time, and it is not necessary to have everything planned in advance.

If you put yourself out there, it can pay off this month. The Page of Wands can exude flirtatious energy, so if some of you ask for a crush or express your feelings, it will most likely go very well.
