Doctors spoilers: Karen Hollins meets a tarot card reader

Karen Hollins (played by Jan Pearson) takes center stage on today’s episode of Doctors (1:45 p.m. – see our TV guide for listings).

Karen, a surgical receptionist, is about to assess a vulnerable patient.

She meets Sian Corcoran (Heather Craney, who starred in the BBC One sitcom, Riley’s life alongside Caroline Quentin), who recently moved to Letherbridge.

Sian, a tarot card reader, suffers from severe anxiety and The Mill struggles to get in touch with her.

Sian becomes suspicious when Karen shows up on the doorstep.

Very quickly, Karen realizes that the only way for her to agree with the anxious Sian is if she agrees to have her tarot cards read!

As Sian begins to read, Karen is upset when something unexpected turns up…

But what?

But things take a darker turn when Karen realizes Sian lives in fear of her ex-partner, Vincent Blake (Matthew Flynn, who recently played DS Rogers on ITV’s Emmerdale and tangled with serial killer Meena).

It seems Vincent was controlling and abusing and that’s why Sian fled to Letherbridge to get away from him.

Is she now afraid that Vincent might find her…

Meanwhile, back at the Moulin…

Al Haskey (Ian Midlane) is unconvinced by the news of Karen’s meeting with the tarot card reader, Sian and by what was revealed during Karen’s tarot card reading.

Al feels that tarot card readings are fake and just things that are said to a suggestive mind/gullible paying customers!

However, surgical receptionist Valerie Pitman (Sarah Moyle) and doctors Jimmi Clay (Adrian Lewis Morgan) and Sid Vere (Ashley Rice) decide to have fun at Al’s expense.

Can the clever trio trick Al into believing he can now read his mind?
